Colorado’s rafting mecca, Browns Canyon National Monument, provides an abundance of whitewater. As a result, it has long been a guide favorite. This remote, back-country rafting adventure highlights the spectacular scenery and whitewater of the Arkansas River. The Collegiate Peaks tower overhead, providing truly awe-inspiring views.
Begin the day by zip-lining over 3,500 total feet across the Arkansas River valley. This experience offers it all in a short period of time—incredibly scenic views while zooming through the valley on our 44-acre private zip-line course. Then you will enjoy a delicious fajita lunch at our covered picnic site.
In the afternoon, your raft trip offers it all in a 10-mile journey, including the opportunity to see protected wildlife, enjoy picturesque canyon walls, and experience Colorado’s finest whitewater. Between the Class III rapids, you will have time to relax and catch your breath as you get to know your guide, learn more about the majestic views all around you, and swim when the warm Colorado air makes the water very inviting. This adventure is designed to excite, but not intimidate.
For our zip-line course, guests must weigh at least fifty pounds. Maximum weight for the zip-line is 250 pounds.
