This trip is located approximately 45 minutes to the west of Vail at our boathouse in the charming historical town of Glenwood Springs. Heading west on I-70 from Eagle-Vail, you’ll enjoy a spectacular drive where you can marvel at the stunning rock formations carved by the Colorado River over millions of years.

Hold onto your paddles and brace for an adrenaline-soaked ride! This River adventure kicks off from the heart of Glenwood Springs. Make your way to our Glenwood office approximately 50 minutes west of Vail / Beaver creek.  But this isn’t your run-of-the-mill float trip; oh no, my friend! We’re diving headfirst into the Colorado River Shoshone rapids, and let me tell you, they’re the stuff of legends.

Picture this: spectacular Glenwood Canyon, where the river churns and twists, carving its way through ancient rock formations. Shoshone Rapids are like a wild roller coaster ride—two miles of heart-pounding, excitement. But fear not! These rapids are like that cool cousin who’s thrilling but not downright terrifying.
