Born and raised in Raleigh, NC. Growing up in the Piedmont, I never experienced whitewater until I went to college. Being a lover of mountains and water, I was instantly hooked. In my off-season I like to travel around in pursuit of world-class whitewater, whether that’s back home in the south, in South America, or somewhere new. Occasionally, if there’s not enough water around, you can find me mountain biking or skiing. But best believe it, when that snow starts to melt in Colorado, there’s no place I’d rather be!
